Essential Information

  • Departures from major piers every 20 minutes from approximately 06.00 to 1.00.
  • Tickets can be easily purchased onboard, on piers or click here (link)
  • Our commuter service runs from Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier (East) to Millbank Pier (West) with stops at the following piers (from East to West); Woolwich, QEII, Greenwich, Masthouse, Greenland, Canary Wharf, Tower, London Bridge, Bankside, Blackfriars, Embankment, Waterloo and Millbank
  • The River Roamer route is valid at all piers between 10.00 and 22.00 on weekdays and from the first morning departure through 22.00 at weekends.
  • Thames Clippers services run to Blackfriars Pier and Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier only during peak commuter times on a weekday. Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier has service all day at weekends.
  • The Tate to Tate service from Bankside Pier to Millbank Pier departs every 40 minutes.
  • The Hilton Docklands Ferry service operates between Canary Wharf Pier and the Hilton Docklands on a scheduled service.

  • The O2 Express service operates on select arena event nights at The O2 on a 30 minute frequency. Passengers are also welcome to travel to QEII Pier at The O2 on the scheduled commuter service with departures every 20 minutes.

  • Monday to Friday our commuter service operates from Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier at 06.02 through well past midnight.
  • At the weekend our commuter service operates from The QEII Pier at 08.10 through well past midnight.
  • Season Tickets are available for frequent passengers on a monthly or annual basis.
  • A River Roamer ticket allows passengers unlimited hop-on hop-off for a day's travel between QEII Pier and Millbank pier from 10.00 to 22.00 on weekdays. The River Roamer is valid on weekends between Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier and Millbank Pier from the first morning departure through 22.00.
  • A Family River Roamer ticket costs £18. (One pass is valid for up to 2 adults and 2 children.)
